For over a decade, RIOT has been partnering with Coach to push creative boundaries, delivering bold campaigns that have cemented their place as one of the world’s most iconic fashion brands. Now, with Coachtopia, this collaboration takes a deeper, more meaningful turn—one rooted in sustainability and a vision for the future of fashion. It’s a journey that’s as inspiring as it is essential.
Coachtopia is a bold vision by Coach to reimagine fashion through a circular lens. It’s about reducing waste while creating an entirely new ecosystem, where every product has multiple lives. It’s a space where Gen Z designers and thinkers lead the charge, collaborating with Coach to challenge the norms of fast fashion and build a platform for lasting change. And while the focus may be on Gen Z, the appeal is universal—pieces like the iconic Ergo bag are loved by all generations.
We’re honored to have helped shape its creative and visual identity for Coachtopia. From the outset, our mission was clear: to visualize a brand ecosystem that embodies sustainability, innovation, and the collective spirit of the Gen Z creatives who are at its heart. Launching just in time for Earth Day, Coachtopia redefines how fashion interacts with the planet, emphasizing upcycling, recycling, and rethinking the lifecycle of every product.
But this isn’t simply about rethinking waste—it’s about rethinking connection. Coachtopia thrives as a community, bringing together designers, influencers, and activists to spark a cultural movement. It’s fashion with purpose, built on collaboration and the collective desire to make a positive impact.

Our creative history with Coach laid the foundation for this new chapter. From crafting heartwarming stop-motion animations for their (Re)Loved ReMade campaign to creating dynamic visual identities, Coachtopia represents our most ambitious collaboration yet. Alongside Coach, we’ve helped weave sustainability into their DNA, creating BTS vignettes, community-driven sizzle reels, and stunning campaign visuals to bring Coachtopia to life.
Circular fashion flips the traditional fashion model on its head. Instead of the linear process of production, consumption, and disposal, circular fashion creates a closed loop. Materials are reused, recycled, and upcycled, minimizing waste and creating products designed for longevity. Coachtopia embraces this philosophy wholeheartedly, embedding sustainability into every stitch and seam.
Our Coachtopia journey began in early 2022 with intimate Q&A sessions at Coach HQ, laying the groundwork for a sustainable future. By summer, we were producing sizzle reels to introduce the brand’s ethos to its first community members. This early collaboration energized us for the months ahead, culminating in hand-drawn animations, behind-the-scenes shoots, and innovative campaign work that set Coachtopia apart.
One of the most rewarding parts of our Coachtopia collaboration was a high-energy, behind-the-scenes shoot with key community members. From candid interviews to playful vignettes, we captured the heart of Coachtopia’s neighborhood spirit, crafting content that celebrates the creative voices driving the brand forward.
