This creative collaboration allowed us to zoom in closer than ever, capturing silent narratives woven into the essence of our subject’s visage. Nestled within the vibrant heart of NYC, our creative studio transformed into a crucible of creativity. Amidst our space, we rediscovered a treasure of portraiture—our mid-century modern studio’s original, 40s era skylight dome. This architectural relic became our source of natural illumination, casting a radiant glow that embraced our model in the soft embrace of perfectly diffused daylight. This unique lighting setup allowed us to capture the ephemeral charm of natural light. The outcome? A film where the genuine, ethereal allure of authenticity eclipses any commonplace, artificial brightness. In our latest collaboration with the LA Galaxy team, we set out to create a dynamic trailer for their social media platforms, sparking excitement among fans for the first home match of the 2024 season against Inter Miami CF. Utilizing stunning visuals of the cloud-enshrouded LA skyline, we designed a teaser that not only boosts LA Galaxy’s brand but also connects it with the infinite expanse of the cosmos and the limitless nature of dreams. This endeavor went beyond merely advertising a match; it aimed to craft a scene where the Galaxy ascends beyond the clouds. In the video, we intricately blend custom motion graphics with deep textures, inspired by the vintage charm of old VHS tapes. The trailer flickers with glitches, evoking the feeling of rediscovering a cherished memory. This creative direction wasn’t just for style; it represents the enduring legacy of LA Galaxy. 2023 was the start of our creative journey with Major League Soccer superstars, LA Galaxy. Our original creation was an opening trailer for the season which highlighted the rivalry between LA Galaxy and LAFC while also letting the fans know that this game would be happening where it all began for LA Galaxy – at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. Due to extreme weather conditions, the game was called off at the last moment and was rescheduled for independence day. To amplify the rivalry once more, we were tasked with creating a variety of campaign assets for the rescheduled Rose Bowl Stadium game and continue where we left off earlier in the season. For this campaign we created three different films: Rose Bowl Ticket Push Trailer: The first of our trailers, the intent of this film was to build up hype before the big game while also serving as a final ticket sales push to help sell out the Rose Bowl game. The French designer, celebrated for transforming Tiffany & Co.’s jewelry line with his imaginative and vibrant pieces, left an indelible mark on the industry. Yet, amid all his illustrious creations, one mystery lingered – the absence of an audible memory. Almost no one truly knows what the legendary Schlumberger sounded like, a private man he never publicly gave an interview and there are no known recordings of his voice. The Voice Behind the Legend: Recreating Jean Schlumberger’s Essence at Tiffany & Co. In collaboration with the Tiffany archives, we embarked on a captivating journey to unearth and recreate the Voice of Schlumberger for an exclusive installation at their newly renovated flagship Fifth Avenue store. The challenge was immense; the mission was to simulate a voice without a reference point. Our extensive research took us through Schlumberger’s background, his upbringing, and any existing literature that might hint at his vocal tonality. Enter, Coachtopia It’s been a long time coming and we’re so excited to share all the creative work we’ve put into Coach’s new sustainability-focused brand, Coachtopia – just in time for this year’s Earth Day too! One spring day in early 2023, Coach asked us to put together a crew that would be able to capture content across sixteen different sets, spread out across Gantry Plaza State Park in Long Island City, NY. As part of our BTS capture Coach also wanted us to interview and shoot portraiture with all ten of the talent that would be featuring in their campaign film. Add in to the mix that there was basically no time slots put aside for our work due to time constraints and we found ourselves having a lot of fun pulling people aside, chatting with them and capturing their personalities under seemingly impossible circumstances – one of our interviews was half done walking between sets! We put together two units, one that would focus on trying to be ten different places at once and capture as much true behind the scenes as possible (see main film above), the second unit focused on pulling talent aside, chatting with them and capturing portraiture.
