With everything from fine-dining restaurants to the hidden gems in the city that never sleeps, Vegas On is the ultimate guide to what’s new and what’s now in Las Vegas. The sizzle reel above highlights the graphics package and brand identity we created for the popular episodic Las Vegas-owned online show. RIOT provided full creative direction on everything from the logo design, brand color scheme all the way through to the motion graphics that add energy and clarity to the productions the Vegas On team makes. Using a beautiful color palette and bold fonts, we developed a visual identity brand blueprint for the Vegas On team to use across all their assets – both within show episodes and anywhere else the brand is represented both on and offline. The looping videos below demonstrate a variety of individual motion graphics assets that were created as part of our visual identity package. Other assets that were created that aren’t demonstrated include lower third assets and transitions which helped to round out our creative direction and visual identity package.

Read MoreTowards the end of the global COVID pandemic we took on the challenge of producing a global live-streaming event for the virtual experiences platform Moment House with Canadian folk band Wild Rivers. Filmed live at Le Poisson Rouge in our creative agency home of NYC we embraced the challenge to shoot and edit the entire intimate gig with a small grassroots team. We shot everything for this live-streaming gig and edited everything together to create a long-form content experience for existing fans and new listeners. The wider angles were shot using the venue’s own cameras to help us make the most of the stage, the audience, and most importantly the artists. We mixed these cameras with two RED Komodo’s on gimbals for an all encompassing visual story of this amazing show. We put together a full content package for the team including a full 1 hour 30 min edit, trailer, sizzle, intros, and more. For those of you that have the password, you can watch the Wild Rivers full live stream in the player above. For everyone else, enjoy the visuals from the sizzle reel and our image gallery below. Read MoreAdding to our ever-growing collection of brand sizzle reels that we’ve created over the years is our Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) reel in collaboration with our friends at Coach. As part of an award application for British fashion designer and Executive Creative Director for Coach Stuart Vevers, in association with the CFDA this sizzle reel was a super fun project to work on creatively. We dedicated our time getting to know Stuart throughout this project and discovered how he truly wanted to represent himself as a nominee to the CFDA through this sizzle reel. It was an honor that our creative agency could help visually represent him. With a clear direction set and assets provided, we had tons of fun editing the high-energy clips while also crafting unique compositions to help tell Stuart’s story. Close
Read MoreWith almost 40,000 new apps released every month, we had to make sure the new Wardrobe app which allows its users to exchange and borrow high-fashion clothing would stand out from the crowd. The introduction to the app is the front door for the person using it, so we went above and beyond with this video, welcoming everyone to it in the coolest way possible. Taking a bank of awesome content from the team including clips of real users of the app, we had fun playing around with it all in very unique ways. Our creative agency goes the extra mile as always, we took the time to hand-cut real pieces of paper, filmed on a green screen, and then added stop motion to achieve an old-school and hyped look and feel. We ran assets through one of our many vintage video cameras to add true and unique VHS effects, created custom motion graphics for the logo and text moments, and composed mixed media animation layers and textures to help bring fresh, new, and unique vibes to each frame. We also chopped and mashed together some of the wildest and coolest imagery combinations, including a buffering effect called “data moshing” […]
Read MoreWe recently partnered with our dear friends at Coach to create an inspiring film for their affiliated non-profit organization, the Coach Foundation. The Coach Foundation is committed to unlocking the dreams of 5,000 young individuals by providing scholarships by 2025. The video content in the film was captured using the personal cameras of the featured individuals, showcasing the authentic and unfiltered nature of their technological resources and emphasizing the challenge of affording higher education. With a focus on promoting positivity, our goal was to shed light on the incredible personalities of each individual who has overcome adversity to reach their current position. To maintain the genuine essence of the film, we dedicated extra time and effort to incorporate hand-drawn elements. For each person showcased, we endeavored to delve into their thoughts and imbue their clips with a custom font style and a hand-drawn representation of their imagined workspaces. These elements were then animated to generate one-of-a-kind artistic creations. This project presented a unique opportunity for our creative agency, and we had a fantastic time bringing it to life. Although the video is intended for internal use within the Coach team and requires a password for access, you can still […]
Read MoreGiving a masterclass on empathy, podcaster Dylan Marron in collaboration with Lexus and WSJ Custom Content sat in front of the RIOT cameras in NYC during the pandemic. Dylan’s “Conversations with People Who Hate Me” podcast and social experiment features his conversations with people who have written negative comments to him online in the past. The experience from the shows and the conversations that followed gave Dylan a bank of knowledge on vulnerability, difficult conversations, and empathy. We shot, edited, and produced this long-form instructional class that dives into deep philosophical layers surrounding negative human interactions and delivers a light and positive visual experience for the viewer. The story is broken down into chapters with a mixture of “to camera” discussion, motion graphics, quirky custom hand-drawn animations and a multitude of b-roll that was shot in different locations throughout. Our leadership session is one of the rare longer-form pieces of content in the RIOT catalog and we’re super proud of this creation. We’re excited about future collaborations where we get to test ourselves in the longer form visual content space further. Close

Read MoreIn a time when the world was paused by lockdowns, RIOT reimagined live performance by turning limitations into creative triumphs. Building on our groundbreaking visuals for Call Ne When You Land—from the stirring narratives of the Official Music Video, Summertime Low, to Amaranth Moonlight—this live session stands as a testament to the unyielding spirit of creativity. The Zoom of Possibility When conventional stages were rendered inaccessible, our team embraced the digital realm. With Zoom as our portal, we engineered a near-zero latency experience through a blend of optimized network configurations and smart tweaks. The result was a live session that pulsed with the raw energy and intimacy of an in-person performance—proving that even in isolation, connection could be instantaneous. To capture the essence of every note and nuance, we deployed bespoke GoPro 360 camera packages to Luke and Ben in advance of the shoot. This was about embracing a multidimensional view of creativity. While the final edit showcased a clean, elegant framing to spotlight the music, the underlying 360 capture laid the groundwork for limitless creative exploration. It was our way of ensuring that every angle, every emotion, was preserved for those who dared to see beyond the obvious. Soundscapes […]
