Highlighting the technological transformations by AWS, from Formula 1 to Biohealth.
AWS powers some of the most complex systems in the world, but the real creative challenge is not explaining cloud infrastructure. It is making intelligence visible. It is showing how data, machine learning, prediction, automation, and scale change what people experience in real time.
As a business and technology creative agency, RIOT helped translate AWS-powered innovation into cinematic stories that moved across sport, healthcare, and financial services. These were not dry technology explainers. They were films built to make technical transformation feel urgent, human, and alive.
Across AWS x Formula 1: A Data-Fueled Renaissance, AWS x Livongo: Data Empowers Patients & Providers, and AWS x Aella Credit: Infusing Intelligence into Financial Services, RIOT used branded content, brand storytelling, motion, and data-led narrative to show what happens when invisible systems create visible change.
Speed alone does not win races. Insight does. Formula 1 has always lived on the edge of physics, but the modern frontier is not only the track. It is the data underneath every lap, every tire choice, every aerodynamic adjustment, and every split-second strategic decision.
For AWS x Formula 1: A Data-Fueled Renaissance, RIOT helped tell the story of a sport where every car becomes a moving equation. Downforce, grip, drag, temperature, tire degradation, telemetry, and track position all feed into a live system of prediction and performance. The race may play out on asphalt, but the edge is built in the cloud.
AWS-powered insights allow teams and fans to understand what the eye cannot see. Tire life, lap gaps, airflow, race distance, predictive strategy, and performance models all become part of a deeper viewing experience. The result is not just more data. It is a new way to understand the drama of the race.
From Computational Fluid Dynamics to predictive race strategy, AWS helps Formula 1 simulate, model, and optimize before the car ever reaches the corner. For RIOT, the creative task was to make those invisible forces feel cinematic. Through data visualization, abstraction, pacing, and visual tension, we helped turn motorsport intelligence into a story audiences could feel.
Healthcare is not just numbers. It is people managing chronic conditions every day, often inside systems that are slow, fragmented, and reactive. Heart disease, diabetes, behavioral health, and long-term care challenges are not abstract statistics. They are lived realities.
AWS x Livongo: Data Empowers Patients & Providers focused on how Livongo and AWS use data, machine learning, and Applied Health Signals to move care from reactive to proactive. Every glucose reading, smartwatch notification, logged meal, coaching call, and behavioral signal becomes part of a larger picture. One that can help patients receive support before problems escalate.

Using Amazon Transcribe, Livongo can analyze real conversations between patients and health coaches, identifying patterns, emotional cues, stress signals, and recurring struggles. Healthcare becomes more than a record. It becomes a living feedback loop, where technology enhances human care rather than replacing it.
The platform’s AI-powered nudges are small, timely interventions designed to help people make better health decisions. A high blood sugar reading can trigger a tailored response. Stress patterns can prompt a mindfulness suggestion. Skipped meals can lead to a simple reminder. These are not cold automations. They are examples of intelligence becoming personal.
For RIOT, this was a clear case of product storytelling with real human stakes. The story was not simply that AWS helps process healthcare data. It was that cloud intelligence can help people feel more supported, more informed, and more in control of their health.
Financial services have not always been built for everyone. For many communities, access to credit has been blocked by a lack of formal identification, limited banking history, and systems that were never designed to see them clearly.
With AWS x Aella Credit: Infusing Intelligence into Financial Services, RIOT helped tell a story about inclusion, identity, and access. Aella Credit set out to build a smarter financial system for people who had been excluded from traditional lending, using AWS-powered biometric verification, cloud infrastructure, and AI-driven decision-making to open new doors.
The challenge began with identity. When people exist outside formal records, databases, or credit histories, how do you verify them securely and quickly? Aella Credit used biometric verification at scale, integrating with national identity registries and cloud-powered systems to create a faster, more reliable path into financial access.
What once took weeks could happen in seconds. AWS Rekognition helped power facial recognition and proof-of-life checks, cross-referencing identity signals with government records to reduce fraud while making access smoother for legitimate users.
The impact moved beyond verification. Aella’s microloan platform helped small business owners, farmers, and underserved communities gain access to capital. In this story, AWS-powered intelligence was not just making financial services faster. It was helping make them more inclusive.
Across Formula 1, Livongo, and Aella Credit, the same creative problem appeared in different forms: how do you make complex technology understandable without making it feel small?
The answer is not to flatten the story. It is to build a visual and narrative system that gives people a way in. For AWS, that meant showing predictive racing intelligence, AI-powered healthcare support, and biometric financial inclusion in ways that felt cinematic, clear, and emotionally legible.
RIOT’s work in this space blends strategic narrative with motion graphics, editing, visual abstraction, data-led storytelling, and industry fluency. The technology is complex, but the viewer experience has to be immediate. That is the craft.
These projects also sit within RIOT’s wider collaboration with WSJ Custom Content, where editorial-quality brand films help business and technology stories reach audiences with credibility, pace, and creative force.
AWS gave RIOT the opportunity to tell stories about systems that shape modern life but often remain invisible. Race strategy. Patient care. Financial access. Each story was different, but each one revealed the same truth: technology matters most when people can understand what it makes possible.
For business and technology brands, explanation is only the starting point. The real opportunity is to make the audience care. That means turning features into stakes, platforms into worlds, and technical capability into human meaning.
RIOT’s work with AWS shows how cloud intelligence, AI, machine learning, and real-time data can become more than technical proof points. They can become stories of speed, care, access, and transformation.
