SoulCycle instructor Mike Press has always been on a journey—both literally and metaphorically. As a high school and college 400-meter hurdler from Mount Vernon, NY, Mike’s world revolved around pushing limits and chasing excellence. When a torn ACL and meniscus injury threatened to end his athletic career, Mike redefined his path, finding new ways to channel his resilience and determination.

Mike joined SoulCycle in 2016, quickly establishing himself as a dynamic and motivating force in the cycling studio. Known for his precision and energy, Mike creates classes that are as much a mental workout as they are physical. Each ride is a carefully curated experience, with live instrumentation and music crescendos that parallel the internal journey of every rider.
