In a groundbreaking collaboration with LA Galaxy, RIOT has once again pushed the boundaries of creative innovation, this time for the much-anticipated 2024 season opener where multi-platinum DJ and producer Alesso performed during the match against Inter Miami CF at Dignity Health Sports Park. The concept was clear from the outset: to transport LA Galaxy into the cosmic realm, symbolizing a new era of unparalleled experiences both on and off the field. Our team envisioned a journey that was not just a visual feast but an immersive narrative, leading viewers through a galaxy of fantasy and space-driven imagery. Towards the end of the global COVID pandemic we took on the challenge of producing a global live-streaming event for the virtual experiences platform Moment House with Canadian folk band Wild Rivers. Filmed live at Le Poisson Rouge in our creative agency home of NYC we embraced the challenge to shoot and edit the entire intimate gig with a small grassroots team. We shot everything for this live-streaming gig and edited everything together to create a long-form content experience for existing fans and new listeners. The wider angles were shot using the venue’s own cameras to help us make the most of the stage, the audience, and most importantly the artists. We mixed these cameras with two RED Komodo’s on gimbals for an all encompassing visual story of this amazing show. We put together a full content package for the team including a full 1 hour 30 min edit, trailer, sizzle, intros, and more.
