Reside Moments: w/ Architect Shohei Shigematsu
During a nice spring day in New York City we spent time with OMA architect and partner Shohei Shigematsu as our latest collaboration with Reside magazine to discuss his chosen field of art – architecture. The resulting film is a look at how Shohei takes a spark of imagination and turns it into a skyline altering masterpiece.
“The Dialogue Of The Mass To The Void” is a short glimpse into the life of Shohei Shigematsu and the level of thought and detail that goes into every one of his creation. From sketches, to materials and models through the final product – it’s all shown to the viewer in a stream of consciousness way that is compelling and fresh.
