The Greatest Playlist Of All Time #1 Q3 2016
In case you haven’t noticed, at RIOT we absolutely adore music – in case our amazing sister site AltSounds didn’t make you already realize this! It’s our favorite medium for art, no other art form can place you back to a time in your life where you can fully picture and see a whole scene in your head, simply thanks to a certain song that brings it all flooding back. As such, we’re listening to music almost all of the time; in the background as we work, while we walk, skate, cycle, drive, party.
Of the thousands of songs we listen to every single month, there are some that stand out from the crowd. The ones that make you skip back instantly and listen again and again and again like a drug habit you can’t kick. These best of the bunch songs are rare though, sometimes very rare with only one coming to us over a two week period, other weeks there might be a few.
At the start of July we decided to start putting together a playlist every quarter aptly titled “The Greatest Playlist Of All Time” because, well, it is! We decided on doing one a quarter because we think this is enough time to put together one because monthly just wouldn’t be fruitfully gold enough musically. Today, we’re happy to share out very first “The Greatest Playlist Of All Time” with you all, titled “The Greatest Playlist Of All Time #1 Q3 2016”.
In celebration of this momentous occasion we also put together a cool seamless looping animation that lasts for 30 seconds that we mashup six of the songs in to give everyone out there a little teaser as to the sheer brilliance that is contained within.
“The Greatest Playlist Of All Time #1 Q3 2016” stemmed from many different situations of musical listening and, as such it is also equally as flexible from a listening standpoint. Pop it on when you get up in the morning and listen as you get ready for the day ahead, dance along as you walk to work, drop the top of your car and blare it out your speakers as you drive around in the sun, put it on in the background as you work and watch how productive you will be. The opportunities are endless!
The only thing that is essential is actually listening to “The Greatest Playlist Of All Time #1 Q3 2016” over and over and over. We also recommend that you put it on shuffle and repeat, that way you can fully digest the awesome music contained within over the course of your day.
